To be fair, what’s the alternative? Just taking every rape accusation as true without asking any questions? You don’t think that that would result in a few false incarcerations?
Um, no. Not without asking any questions, but how about without asking the victim what she was wearing, if she’s promiscuous, why she was alone in the dark, why she didn’t fight back, why she went along with her assailant’s demands, etc. That’s the alternative.
