This morning, I received a note from the tumblr staff alerting me to the fact that the petition had worked and ryking had been removed from his position. Thank you all for signing the petition.

First, he laughed at us. Then, he fought us. Then, he whined about cyberbullying and compared us to genocidal maniacs. And then, we won.

Actually, Tumblr cleaned out all the editors. I’m no longer an editor, nor really is anyone else who was an editor. Though this does show what happens when someone decides to get quite nasty. Bravo. 

I enjoyed being an editor and I still thank Tumblr for the opportunity!
