Did he open a new document or something? Him saving it wouldn’t have prevented undo from bringing all the text back.
I clicked undo and there was nothing. Searched my computer and there was nothing. If anyone knows how to bring it back, inbox me. I’m not quite finished yet.

You should be able to ctrl+Z your way back to at least some stage of your original paper. (Command+Z if you’re on a Mac.)

if you’ve got a mac, it’s possible time machine could bring it back. That application has saved me from things like this in the past
