I think you’re right but you’ve done a dishonest thing lining up the peaks and troughs of those two graphs even though they don’t match up temporally. I want you to be credible.

They’re posted that way at the source. I agree, it’s off, and I’m posting your comment on the site as an addendum. And this:

I’ve aligned the graphs beginning at 2004. Because the layout IS wonky, the graphs still aren’t perfect. But that’s the best I can do.

Thanks for noticing it! I want to be credible as well.
