"Democracy! Bah! When I hear that I reach for my feather boa!" - Allen Ginsberg

Thanks deviantART, for providing one of the worst (and unintentionally hilarious) anti-abortion messages ever. I think it needs text (in Helvetica) across it about being into post-natal abortion before it was cool, or babies being way too mainstream or something like that.
I threw a doll wearing a hipster shirt and sadface AND MADE ART BITCHES!

~eloquent-insanityAug 26, 2010I’m going to be very, very honest here… I don’t understand why this was picked for a DD. Abortion is a hot button for so many people- is that why? This picture is your run of the mill “I’m in black and white and that makes me ART” picture that anyone with a camera and half a brain cell could post.
Beyond that, the image itself doesn’t make sense enough to make a point. Abortions have nothing to do with babies. Babies play no role in abortions. There is NO connection. Now if you could have gotten the model to toss a small tumor-like group of cells behind her, THAT would have been much more accurate. And much more worthy of a DD.

This photo is totally missing Helvetica.
P.S. - I wouldn’t mock this if it weren’t for the description: “This piece caught my eye way back when it was first submitted and becoming a GM has given me the chance to revisit it. Whatever your view on the issue expressed in this Deviation the idea and the concept is bound to take over for even a second as you view this very poignant and powerful message.”
