I firmly believe that race riots are on the way. They are being encouraged. Remember when Bill Clinton left office and remember they took all the Ws out of the keyboard and they defaced parts of the White House? What do you think these people are gonna do? What do you think this administration — this administration won’t worry about the White House. They will take this country down. If it looks like they are losing, the uber left, they will take it down. If I can’t have it, no one will.

Glenn Beck, claiming on his radio show this past Friday that if Barack Obama isn’t re-elected, there’s going to be race riots. Seriously. He’s not even trying to couch his racism any longer in coded language. And again, Obama is less liberal than Richard Nixon.

As for the supposed vandalism, the truth calls shenanigans on that claim. In fact, the truth calls shenanigans on quite a few of Beck’s claims.

Here’s all I can think of now when I see or hear Glenn Beck:

Saturday I was following the news of the shooting in Norway and the explosion in Norway, which happened what, on Friday? … When we heard the explosion everybody was willing to say, it’s Muslim extremists, it’s Muslim extremists. I don’t think we made a comment on it because we didn’t know other than a bombing had happened, and as the thing started to unfold and there was a shooting a political camp, which sounds a little like the Hitler Youth or you know whatever. Who does a camp for kids that’s all about politics? Disturbing. But, anyway, so there’s this political camp and so crazy man goes and starts shooting kids.

Glenn Beck, demonstrating on his radio show today that no matter how heinously low he sinks, he can always grab a shovel and start digging.

Never mind his 9/12 group ran political camps for kids, right? It’s only Hitler Youth-ish when the left does it. The 9/12 group youth camps were described as a place where 8-12 year-old kids could have fun while “learning the principles of liberty, free markets, and limited government.” Plus, they’ll get to learn the “values of personal responsibility, faith, courage, hard work, reverence and thrift.”

Oh, and the whole Nazi reference is particularly tacky, considering Norway was actually, y’know, invaded by real Nazis during WWII.

Stay classy, Glenn.

Glenn Beck To Visit Auschwitz, Broadcast Special From Outside Town

Glenn Beck said Thursday that he will be visiting the former Nazi death camp Auschwitz in a visit to Poland, and he’ll broadcast a special from a town outside of the camp because this will help him “figure out,” he says, “how did this happen?”

"Poland, I didn’t know this when I first started doing my research." Beck said, "Poland rose up, a lot of Poles rose up, to try to help the Jews but they had nothing left. They had no arms." Though there were certainly many Polish people who helped the Jews during the Holocaust, the country at that point did not exactly have a reputation for passionate philo-Semitism. Towards the end of the war, anti-Jewish riots even broke out in several Polish cities as Jews were returning to their homes.

Beck is planning a "Restoring Courage" rally in Israel August 20, which he says will be a “life altering event” that the “very gates of hell” will seek to prevent. He has previously alluded to the Holocaust as part of the reason why his rally is so super important: “Because I’ve read history. I know how it ended last time and I know how it started. First they came for the Jews, and I said nothing. Let me declare to the entire world, and ask who’s with me. This time I will stand. This time I will say something. This time I will be a force for good.”

Asshat extraordinaire seeks attention as a radical, monetarily concerned, pseudo concern troll incarnate. That’s what I read.

By the way, the U.N. is also working on a small-arms treaty — which purports to fight terrorism, but if implemented, Second Amendment proponents like me believe that it will only enforce rougher licensing requirements, create more red tape, and possibly an international gun registry. As if terrorists give a flying crap about registering their gun or their machete before they kill you.

This will do nothing but make it harder for you to get a gun. Why would you get a gun? [Points to picture of President Obama and adviser Cass Sunstein.] To prepare for tough times. That’s why.

Glenn Beck, upping the paranoia ante June 13 and, uh, appearing to encourage violence against the president. But metaphorically, of course.

Is he actually serious, or is this born of some adolescent desire to shock? At this point, Glenn, just GTFO.

Glenn Beck compares Cesar Chavez to Josef Stalin in a bizarre rant about the christening of the USNS Cesar Chavez.

A few notes:

  • The shipbuilders, General Dynamics NASSCO in San Diego, said the company suggested the name to honor its mostly Hispanic work force and neighborhood, Barrio Logan, where the boat builder is located.

  • The proper name is the USNS Cesar Chavez. The USS Cesar Chavez does not exist. Uncle Wikipedia says it’s a different class of ship, named for great explorers and pioneers.

  • Cesar Chavez = not a communist. I Googled this, and found an LA Times report in roughly two minutes, with this: “Prompted by rumor and hearsay, the shadowing of Chavez under the administrations of Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon would continue for more than seven years, involving hundreds of agents nationwide at extensive public cost. This resulted in a 1,434-page FBI file - a copy of which was obtained by The Times under the Freedom of Information Act - but little else.

The reports say more about the practices of the FBI under its longtime director, J. Edgar Hoover, than they do about Chavez and his union. Despite keeping tabs on marches, picketing and meetings from Delano, Calif., the site of a prolonged strike and the union’s headquarters, to New York City, no evidence of Communist or subversive influence was ever developed.

  • Josef Stalin ordered the murder of millions. Cesar Chavez organized farm workers and advocated non-violence.

"The only real power comes out of a long rifle." - Josef Stalin
"Gratitude is a sickness suffered by dogs" - Josef Stalin
"There is no such thing as defeat in non-violence." - Cesar Chavez
"You are never strong enough that you don’t need help." - Cesar Chavez

    Yep, totally the same thing.

And if that’s not bad enough for you, Beck gleefully suggests the “USS Margret Sanger - the cannons can shoot out fetuses, or shoot directly at pregnant bellies!”

Glenn Beck’s sun is setting, and he’s reaching for more and more outrageous soundbites. This one is pretty close to taking the cake.

This week Glenn Beck has taken to his radio show to attack me as a Progressive, which he has said is the same as a ‘cancer’ and a ‘Nazi.’ What did I do that apparently caused him to link me to a fatal disease and a form of government that murdered millions of innocent Jews? I had the audacity—not of hope—but the audacity to give respect to the efforts of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign to address childhood obesity. I’m no fan of her husband’s policies for sure, but I have appreciated her efforts that Beck misrepresented—either out of ignorance or out of a deliberate attempt to distort them to create yet another ‘boogey man’ hiding in the closet that he and only he can see. The First Lady’s approach is about personal responsibility—not the government literally taking candy from a baby’s mouth. He seems to fancy himself a prophet of sorts for his linking so many people and events together to describe a massive global conspiracy for pretty much everything.

Mike Huckabee, defending himself from attacks by Glenn Beck, based on his support for Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign.

Huckabee’s said some pretty terrible things himself, but I have to give him props for handling Beck’s ridiculous vitriol in such a classy manner. Bravo.

Stop just a second. Hookers? Who? Who depends on Planned Parenthood? ‘I’ve got 400 abortions that I have to have. I’ve got these children that I have to have aborted. I depend on Planned Parenthood.’ Lawrence O’Donnell has friends that depend on Planned Parenthood.

Glenn Beck, claiming only “hookers” depend on Planned Parenthood. Seriously. Glenn, I bet your wife has visited Planned Parenthood, since you can’t get pap smears at Walgreens.

Fuck you, pal. I’m a college student. I have very limited resources. I depend on Planned Parenthood.

Glenn Beck: Japan earthquake could be 'message' from God to follow the Ten Commandments

Glenn Beck says Japan's earthquake might be a “message” from God.

"We can’t see the connections here," he said on his show Monday. “I’m not saying God is causing earthquakes - well I’m not not saying that either!”

"What God does is God’s business," Beck continued. "But I’ll tell you this…there’s a message being sent. And that is, ‘Hey you know that stuff we’re doing? Not really working out real well. Maybe we should stop doing some of it.’ I’m just saying."

Beck continued trying to make a connection between human behavior and the natural disasters that have wreaked havoc in Japan, even casually mentioning “radical Islam” before revealing what he called “the answer.”

"The answer is, buckle up!" he said. "Because it’s going to be a bumpy ride."

In light of the disasters that have devastated Japan, the Fox host stressed people should follow the biblical Ten Commandments, or what he referred to as “10 rules of thumb.”

"What do you say we start doing those things?" he asked. "Because the things we are doing really suck. And they’re not getting better."

Shut the fuck up. Now.
