stfugeraldgay: Gerald Gay calls his fellow legislators “pinko’s” for not passing his misguided, North Korea-ish bill regulating the size of American flags in Wyoming classrooms, mandating their presence, and also requiring daily recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in Wyoming classrooms. Anyone else notice the irony of him calling people “pinko’s” and the requiring of the pledge being a big fucking deal during the red scare? Oh yeah, that’s when we inserted “under God” too. Reminder to Gerald NotGay: The people who killed this were in YOUR OWN PARTY. As Sen. Cale Case said, patriotism “comes from the heart, not the law.”
